Yaroslav Paniot
Yaroslav Vadymovych Paniot ( uk, Ярослав Вадимович Паніот, born 26 December 1997) is a Ukrainian-American figure skater who competes for the United States. He is the 2021 U.S. national pewter medalist. Representing Ukraine, he is the 2017 CS Tallinn Trophy bronze medalist, the 2017 Philadelphia International silver medalist, and a two-time Ukrainian national champion (2014, 2017). He has reached the free skate at four ISU Championships and qualified a spot for Ukraine at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where he finished 30th. He last competed for Ukraine in November 2018. Career Early career Paniot began skating in 2003. In his early years, he was taught by Yuriy Sukholentsev and Oleksandr Zelensky in Ukraine. 2014–15 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2014–15 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 18th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2014–15 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. At each event, skaters also earned points toward qualifying for the final. The top six skaters or teams from each discipline met at the 2014–15 Junior Grand Prix Final, held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly. Poiana Brașov
Poiana Brașov (, german: Schulerau; hu, Brassópojána) is a neighborhood of Brașov and a Romanian ski resort. After the 2010s modernization, the ski area has expanded from to and the slope’s length was increased from to . Most slopes now have snow cannons installed. In 2013, Poiana Brașov hosted figure skating, alpine skiing, and short track in the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival. The resort is located at about above sea level near the city of Brașov in Romania and it is easily accessible by road. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. The International Skating Union organizes six annual Championships for figure skating. It is at the discretion of each member country which skaters, pairs or synchronized skating teams are sent to which championship. Philadelphia International Records (PIR) was an American record label based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1971 by songwriting and production duo Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff along with their longtime collaborator Thom Bell. It was known for showcasing the Philadelphia soul music genre (also known as Philly soul) that was founded on the gospel, doo-wop and soul music of the time.
