Yūya Yagira
is a Japanese actor. In 2004, he became the youngest winner of the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of 12-year-old Akira in the highly acclaimed '' Nobody Knows''. Career Yagira was 12 years old and not a professional actor, when filming began for ''Nobody Knows'' in 2002. He then immediately went on to television projects and other films. He co-starred with Eriko Sato in Akane Yamada's ''All to the Sea'' which was released in 2010 and co-starred with Kie Kitano in Taro Hyugaji's ''Under the Nagasaki Sky'', released in 2013. In 2021, Yagira played young Takeshi Kitano in the biopic '' Asakusa Kid''. Personal life Yagira was hospitalized on August 29, 2008 for a drug overdose, with early reports calling it a suicide attempt. Tokyo International Film Festival
The is a film festival established in 1985. The event was held biennially from 1985 to 1991 and annually thereafter. According to the FIAPF, it is one of Asia's competitive film festivals and the second largest film festival in Asia behind the Shanghai International Film Festival, as well as the only Japanese festival accredited by the FIAPF. The awards handed out during the festival have changed throughout its existence, but the Tokyo Grand Prix, handed to the best film, has stayed as the top award. Other awards that have been given regularly include the Special Jury Award and awards for best actor, best actress and best director. Horikoshi High School
is a private high school in Nakano, Tokyo, Japan. The school was founded by Chiyo Horikoshi in 1923. Due to its trait course (formerly the entertainment activities course) and the physical education course for entertainers and athletes who have difficulty attending school full-time, Horikoshi High School has been attended by many Japanese celebrities. is a Japanese television drama series, the 92nd ''Asadora'' (morning drama) that was broadcast daily on NHK from March 30, 2015, until September 26, 2015, the same as 2009's ''Asadora'' series ''Tsubasa''.
