Yūko Sano
is a retired volleyball player from Japan. She was part of the Japanese team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She played as a libero for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in third place, and qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Afterwards Sano was named ''Best Digger'' and ''Best Receiver'' at the event. Career Sano played at the 2013 Club World Championship with Voléro Zürich and she was selected Best Libero. Her team lost the bronze medal to Guangdong Evergrande. is a women's volleyball team based in Kobe, Hyogo, Kobe city, Hyogo and Tosu, Saga, Tosu city, Saga, Japan. It plays in V.League (Japan), V.League 1. The club was founded in 1948. In July 2020 the team announced an official name change from "Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Springs" to "Hisamitsu Springs" and unveiled a new team mascot and logo. RC Cannes
RC Cannes is a French women's volleyball club based in Cannes and playing in the French Women's Volleyball League, Ligue AF. History was created as a sports club in 1922 and the volleyball department was introduced in 1942. Originally it had both men and women's teams until 1948 when the men's team was dissolved. The club played in regional and lower national leagues and when the national league was restructured in 1967, it gained a place in the elite league. Japan Women's National Volleyball Team
The Japan women's national volleyball team (Hinotori Nippon, 火の鳥NIPPON), or ''All-Japan women's volleyball team'', is currently ranked 7th in the world by FIVB. The head coach is Ferhat Akbaş. One of their greatest successes was at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, when they defeated the heavily favored Russia women's national volleyball team, Soviet Union on the way to the gold medal. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.
