Tenchi Universe
is a Japanese anime television series animated by AIC and produced by Pioneer LDC. It is loosely based on the first six episodes of the '' Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki'' OVA series. The series premiered on April 2, 1995, in Japan and concluded its airing on September 24, 1995. The series aired in the United States on Cartoon Network's cartoon block Toonami on July 20, 2000, and ended on August 24, 2000. Bakuman
is a Japanese manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, the same creative team responsible for ''Death Note''. It was serialized in Shueisha's Shōnen manga, manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' from August 2008 to April 2012, with its 176 chapters collected into 20 volumes. is a Japanese children's illustrated book series created by Q-LiA and illustrated by Ritsuko Gibo, which started in 2003. An anime adaptation, ''Pururun! is a Japanese anime television series that is based on Kazuya Minekura's manga series Saiyuki. The show is set in Shangri-La, an earthy paradise where humans and ''youkai'' (demons) live peacefully together. is a Japanese anime series animated by AIC and created by Masaki Kajishima, best known for the '' Tenchi Muyo!'' franchise.
