Yosef Harish
Yosef Harish (; 15 September 1923 – 6 November 2013) was an Israeli jurist who served as the country's Attorney General between 1986 and 1993. Biography Born in Jerusalem on 15 September 1923, Harish was educated in a yeshiva. He joined the Haganah, and volunteered for the British Army during World War II. He was arrested during Operation Agatha in 1946 and spent six months in an internment camp, before later serving as an officer in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. He studied for bachelor's and master's degrees in law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and began working as a magistrate. He became a judge in the Tel Aviv District court in 1969, and later became its vice-president. In 1986 Harish was appointed Attorney General. The attorney general of Israel (, ''Ha-Yo'etz Ha-Mishpati La-Memshala'', ) heads the legal system of the executive branch and the public prosecution of the state. The attorney general advises the government in legal matters, represents the state authorities in court, advises in the preparation of legal memoranda for the government in general and the justice minister in particular. Likewise they examine and advise upon private member's bills in the Knesset. Additionally, the attorney general is tasked with protecting the rule of law and, as such, entrusted with protecting the public interest from possible harm by government authorities. Ramat Aviv
Ramat Aviv Alef or Ramat Aviv HaYeruka, and originally plainly Ramat Aviv (, ''lit.'' Spring Heights), is a neighborhood in northwest Tel Aviv, Israel. History Ramat Aviv was founded in 1950s following the great influx of immigrants from Eastern Europe. Golda Meir lived in the neighborhood from 1959 to 1978. In January 2011 it was published that remains of a building, believed to be 7,800–8,400 years old, were discovered in an archaeological excavation carried out in 8 Fichman Street in Ramat Aviv, by the Israel Antiquities Authority. The findings attest to permanent habitation on the northern bank of the Yarkon River. |

Hebrew (; ''ʿÎbrit'') is a Northwest Semitic language within the Afroasiatic language family. A regional dialect of the Canaanite languages, it was natively spoken by the Israelites and remained in regular use as a first language until after 200 CE and as the liturgical language of Judaism (since the Second Temple period) and Samaritanism. The language was revived as a spoken language in the 19th century, and is the only successful large-scale example of linguistic revival.
