Yeşim Ustaoğlu
Yeşim Ustaoğlu (born 18 November 1960) is a Turkish filmmaker and screenwriter. Life and career Ustaoğlu was born in Kars, Sarıkamış and grew up in Trabzon on the Black Sea. After studying architecture at Karadeniz Technical University she moved to Istanbul, attended master's programme in Yıldız Technical University, she worked as an architect, then as a journalist and a film critic. Before she made her feature film debut '' The Trace'' (''İz'') in 1994, she had made several award-winning short films. ''The Trace'' was entered into the 19th Moscow International Film Festival. Ustaoğlu received international recognition for her next film, '' Journey to the Sun'' (''Güneşe Yolculuk''), which told a story of a friendship between a Turk and a Kurd. Çaykara
Çaykara (Pontic Greek#Ophitic, Romeika: Κατωχώρι, ''Kadahor'') is a municipality and Districts of Turkey, district of Trabzon Province, Turkey. Its area is 574 km2, and its population is 13,070 (2022). As of 2023, the Mayor of Çaykara is Hanefi Tok (Justice and Development Party (Turkey), AKP). Çaykara village lies in a V-shaped valley along the Solaklı River in the Pontic Mountains, at an elevation of around 300 metres. Çaykara district lies to the south of Dernekpazarı (Kondu) and forms the upper part of the Of-valley system ('Solaklı Vadisi' in Turkish), with peaks reaching to over 3300 meters. The western half of İkizdere district - which lies just east of Çaykara and is now part of Rize province - was historically also part of the same administrative and cultural region. The Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival (), known for a few years from 2015 as Antalya International Film Festival, is a film festival, held annually since 1963 in Antalya, and is the second most important film festival in Turkey. While treating her patients during the week, she's mostly looking forward to the weekend and their Istanbul lives. However, during this routine, Chehnaz' sexual problem with her husband becomes more evident - a problem that she is not able to face. The Golden Shell (; ) is the highest prize given to a competing film at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. It was introduced in 1957.
