Yeniköy, Bursa
Yeniköy is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Orhangazi, Bursa Province, Turkey. Its population is 2,769 (2022). Before the 2013 reorganisation, it was a town (''belde''). Orhangazi
Orhangazi is a municipality and district of Bursa Province, Turkey. Its area is 506 km2, and its population is 81,110 (2022). Olive production is a major part of the economy. The archeological digs of Ilıpınar Höyüğü are in the region of Orhangazi, and can be visited. Orhangazi is located near the lake Iznik and near the Sea of Marmara. Orhangazi has a number of villages around it, connected with local buses. One of the villages, Keramet, has a natural hot springs. Main roads leading to the villages have olive fields on both sides. History Orhangazi is named after Orhan I, the second sultan of the Ottoman Empire, who conquered the area of present Orhangazi in 1326. Belde
Belde (literally "town", also known as ''kasaba'') means "large village with a municipality" in Turkish language, Turkish. All Turkish province centers and district centers have municipalities, but the Villages of Turkey, villages are usually too small to have municipalities. The population in some villages may exceed 2000 and in such villages a small municipality may be established depending on residents' choice. Such villages are called ''belde''. Up to 2014 the number of ''belde'' municipalities was about 1400. On 30 March 2014 by the act no. 6360 all villages (those with and without municipality) were included in the urban fabric of the district municipalities in 30 provinces. Thus ''belde'' municipalities in 30 provinces were abolished. The number of abolished ''belde'' municipalities is 1040. Lake İznik
Lake İznik () is a freshwater lake in the Province of Bursa, Turkey. It is around 32 km in length and 10 km in width with a maximum depth of about 80 m. The town of Iznik (historically known as Nicaea) lies at its eastern end. The lake's Ancient Greek name was (); the Latin name was Ascania. Bursa () is a city in northwestern Turkey and the administrative center of Bursa Province. The fourth-most populous city in Turkey and second-most populous in the Marmara Region, Bursa is one of the industrial centers of the country.
