Yeliz Başa
Yeliz Başa (born Yeliz Askan on August 13, 1987 in Beykoz, Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish female volleyball player, who won the gold medal at the 2014 Women's European Volleyball League playing with the Turkey women's national volleyball team. Career She began her sports career at the age of 14 in the youth team of Beykozspor in her hometown. She transferred to Beşiktaş Women's Volleyball Team, Beşiktaş one year later. After playing for the youth team from 2002 to 2004, and for the juniors team from 2004 to 2006, she entered the senior team, where she was part of until 2012. Her successful performance in 2011–12 season led her to the membership in the Turkey women's national volleyball team. In the 2012–13 season, she transferred to NEC Red Rockets in Japan after signing a one-year contract. She became so the first ever Turkish women's volleyball player in Japan. Beykoz
Beykoz () is a municipality and Districts of Turkey, district of Istanbul Province, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 310 km2, and its population is 247,875 (2022). Turkish Women's Volleyball League
Sultanlar Ligi (''Sultans League''), known for sponsorship reasons as Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi, is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and began with the 1984–85 season. 14 clubs are currently participating in the league. It is often regarded as the best professional women's volleyball league in the world. Its clubs have obtained significant successes in Europe, European and other international competitions. Eczacıbaşı VitrA, Eczacıbaşı are the most successful club, having won 16 championships so far. It succeeded the former Turkish Women's Volleyball Championship (1956–1984). 2020–21 Women's Volleyball Thailand League
The 2020–21 Women's Volleyball Thailand League is the 16th season of the Women's Volleyball Thailand League, the top Thai professional league for women's volleyball clubs, since its establishment in 2005, also known as Daikin Women's Volleyball Thailand League due to the sponsorship deal with Daikin. A total of 8 teams will compete in the league. The season will begin on 12 November 2020 and is scheduled to conclude in 2021. This season will be organized by the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) instead of Thailand Volleyball Co., Ltd. The season started. Teams Eight teams compete in the league – the top six teams from the previous season and the two teams promoted from the Pro Challenge. The promoted teams are Samut Prakan VC and Rangsit University. Supreme Volleyball Club () is a Thai professional women's volleyball club based in Bangkok and have managed by Supreme Volleyball Club Co., Ltd. which was a subsidiary of Supreme Distribution (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The club was founded in 2009 as Supreme Nakhon Si Thammarat before reformed in to Supreme Chonburi in 2013.
