Yanik Frick (born 27 May 1998) is a Liechtensteiner former professional footballer who last played as a forward for FC Montlingen. He currently is a scout for FC Zürich. Club career Frick began playing football in the academy of AC Siena at age 6 while his father played with the senior team in Serie A. At age four he would practice football with future Italian international Nicolò Zaniolo while his father and Nicolo's father, Igor Zaniolo, played together at Ternana and became good friends. As a youth, he also played for the youth teams of FC Vaduz, FC St. Gallen, and USV Eschen/Mauren. Frick started his professional career at Austrian club SC Rheindorf Altach in 2016, signing for the reserve squad. His first appearance for the club came against an academy side of FC Zürich, a match in which he impressed his coaches. He also trained with the first team once per week. Elizabeth (Betsy) Greenwell Yanik (née Catherine Elizabeth Greenwell; also published as C. E. Greenwell-Yanik) is an American mathematics educator, formerly a professor of mathematics at Emporia State University in Kansas, the 2007 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor at Emporia State, and the university's former associate vice-president for academic affairs. Education and career Yanik is originally from Huntington, West Virginia. She majored in both mathematics and physics at Marshall University in West Virginia, before doing graduate studies at the University of Kentucky, where she received a master's degree and her doctorate. Derya Yanık
Derya Yanık (born 30 May 1972) is a Turkish politician and lawyer. She served as the Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services from 2021 to 2023. Career She graduated from Istanbul University in the Faculty of Law in 1995 with a BA. Between 2004 and 2014, she was the first woman to preside over the Municipal Council of Istanbul, and in 2006 she acted as the Deputy Mayor of Istanbul, whilst Kadir Topbaş visited London. Dorothy Miriam Cavalier Yanik (1928–2015) was an American artist and arts educator, known for her printmaking, fiber arts, and painting. She taught at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh. About Dorothy Miriam Cavalier was born on 3 February 1928 in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1960, Yanik took private weaving lessons from Anni Albers. She studied under Josef Albers at Yale University, and earned a B.F.A. degree in 1963. In 1975, she received her M.F.A. degree from Hoffberger School of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). She married architect and professor, John Yanik. Yanik's work was included in a 2018 book ''Anni Albers'' and the 2017 book ''On Weaving: New Expanded Edition'' and in related 2018 art exhibition at the Tate museum. Yanik Tepe
Yanik Tepe () is a Chalcolithic and Bronze Age archaeological site in East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Site description The site is located in Tabriz, Iran, east of Lake Urmia and about 30 kilometers southwest of the city of Tabriz. Yanik Tepe is a relatively large tell (8 hectares) that rises 16.6 meters above the surrounding plain. It is one of the main protohistoric sites excavated in the region after the Second World War, along with Geoy Tepe and Haftavan Tepe. Excavations at Yanik Tepe were conducted by Charles A. Burney from 1960 to 1962. His excavations revealed a sequence spanning the Chalcolithic (4th millennium BC) to the Early Bronze Age (3rd millennium BC). The Early Transcaucasian II–III ( Kura–Araxes) culture flourished around the northern half of the Lake Urmia basin during the 3rd millennium BC.
