Yakınca (formerly ''Kileyik'') is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Yeşilyurt, Malatya Province, Turkey. Its population is 23,063 (2022). Before the 2013 reorganisation, it was a town (''belde''). Yeşilyurt () is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey. Its area is 953 km2, and its population is 341,654 (2022). At the 2013 reorganisation part of the former central district of Malatya Province was added to the district. It covers the western part of the agglomeration of Malatya and the adjacent countryside. Belde
Belde (literally "town", also known as ''kasaba'') means "large village with a municipality" in Turkish language, Turkish. All Turkish province centers and district centers have municipalities, but the Villages of Turkey, villages are usually too small to have municipalities. The population in some villages may exceed 2000 and in such villages a small municipality may be established depending on residents' choice. Such villages are called ''belde''. Up to 2014 the number of ''belde'' municipalities was about 1400. On 30 March 2014 by the act no. 6360 all villages (those with and without municipality) were included in the urban fabric of the district municipalities in 30 provinces. Thus ''belde'' municipalities in 30 provinces were abolished. The number of abolished ''belde'' municipalities is 1040. The Oghuz Turks ( Middle Turkic: , ) were a western Turkic people who spoke the Oghuz branch of the Turkic language family. In the 8th century, they formed a tribal confederation conventionally named the Oghuz Yabgu State in Central Asia. Dulkadirids
The Beylik of Dulkadir () was one of the Turkish Anatolian beyliks (principality) established by the Oghuz Turk clans Bayat, Afshar, and Begdili after the decline of Seljuk Sultanate of Rûm. Etymology The meaning of Dulkadir is unclear. It was later Arabized or reinterpreted according to folk tradition as , which means 'powerful' or 'mighty'. According to 16th-century German historian Johannes Leunclavius, ''Dulkadir'' was a corruption of the Turkic name ''Torghud''. Franz Babinger considered it very probable, as the name was likely derived from some Turkish name, further suggesting that this would also mean the dynasty of Dulkadir is related to the Turkoman Turghudlu tribe.
