Yakuza Zessyō
also known as Ode to the Yakuza is a 1970 Japanese film directed by Yasuzo Masumura. Katsu and Masumura worked together for the first in 5 years. It is based on Jūgo Kuroiwa's novel ''Nishi Naruyama Hotel Gake no Hana''. The movie depicts a man's unusual love for a younger sister. Tatematsu Minoru is a Yakuza in Shinjuku. Kiwako Taichi
was a Japanese film actress. She appeared in 20 films between 1967 and 1985. Biography Kiwako Taichi was born in Tokyo on 2 December 1943. She graduated Shoin Junior and Senior High School and, after training in the Haiyuza Theatre Company, she joined Bungakuza in 1967. Appearing in such plays as ' and ', she was hailed as a potential successor to Haruko Sugimura. In 1970, she married actor Taisaku Akino but divorced. She died in a car accident in Ito, Shizuoka on 13 October 1992 while working there with Bungakuza. Yūsuke Kawazu
was a Japanese actor. Life and career Kawazu was born in Tokyo on 12 May 1935. While still a student at Keio University, Kawazu signed with Shochiku in 1958 and debuted in Keisuke Kinoshita, Kinoshita's ''The Eternal Rainbow''. He became one of the studio's leading young stars, notably headlining Nagisa Ōshima, Ōshima's ''Cruel Story of Youth'' in 1960. In later years he turned to character roles in film and television, also writing several books and establishing a reputation in calligraphy, painting, ceramics, and cooking. On 26 February 2022, he died of chronic heart failure at age 86. Yoshi Katō
was a Japanese stage and film actor who appeared in nearly 180 films between 1948 and 1988. Biography After leaving Keiō Gijuku High School prematurely, Katō gave his stage debut in 1934. He later joined the Shinkyo Theatre Company, which was forced to disband by the authorities in 1940. After the war, he first became a member of the Mingei Theatre Company before moving to the Bungakuza Theatre Company. In 1948, Katō gave his film debut in Kōzaburō Yoshimura's ''Waga shōgai no kagayakeru hi''.
