Yakima Reds
Yakima Reds was an American soccer team based in Yakima, Washington, United States. Founded in 1995, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. The franchise folded at the end of the 2010 season and left the league thereafter. The team played its home games at Marquette Stadium. The team's colors were red and white. History The Yakima Reds joined the USISL Pro League in 1995, and were placed in the Northwest Division, but finished their first year of national competition with just 4 wins, a distant fifth behind divisional champions Hawaii Tsunami. 1996 was better for the Reds, missing out on playoffs on goal difference, finishing third behind Everett Bigfoot and the San Fernando Valley Golden Eagles. Marquette Stadium (Yakima)
Marquette Stadium was an outdoor athletic stadium in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that was opened in 1924. The stadium hosted Marquette University sports programs, including the Marquette Golden Avalanche football, Golden Avalanche football team and the university’s track and field team. It had a seating capacity of 24,000, which could be expanded to 30,000 with temporary bleachers. Marquette Stadium hosted the National Football League’s (NFL) Green Bay Packers for three games during the 1952 NFL season, 1952 season. Starting in 1933, the Packers Green Bay Packers home games in Milwaukee, split their home games between Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Milwaukee, using Wisconsin State Fair Park until 1951. Ogden Outlaws is an American soccer team based in Ogden, Utah, United States. Founded in 2006, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. BYU Cougars men's soccer is an American soccer team based in Provo, Utah, United States. The club has won eleven NIRSA national championships, and it is the only university sponsored soccer program to have ever purchased a franchise, competing in the Premier Development League (now known as USL League Two) from 2003 to 2017. It has since returned to club competition with NIRSA, and the team plays its home games at The Stadium at South Field on the campus of Brigham Young University. Calgary Storm Prospects (formerly the Calgary Storm Select) were a Canadian soccer team who played in the Premier Development League, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid in 2002 and 2003. The team was the official development team of the Calgary Storm of the USL A-League. They played their home games at Glenmore Park Stadium. History In 2002, the Calgary Storm moved their PDL team to the USL A-League from the PDL, but created a development team to replace the PDL side. In 2003, club owner Michael Vandale resigned as owner, citing personal issues and mounting financial losses, handing over the operation of the club to the United Soccer Leagues.
