Yakacık is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Gazipaşa, Antalya Province, Turkey. Its population is 324 (2022). Geography Yakacık is on Turkish state highway D.400 which runs from west to east in south Turkey and to the west of a creek named Kaledran Creek. It is the easternmost point of Antalya Province. It was issued from Anıtlı (then called Kaledran) on the other side of a creek which is in the neighbouring Mersin Province. However although the villages are officially issued, the residents still prefer to use the name Kaledran for both parts. The distance to Gazipaşa is and to Antalya was . GazipaÅŸa
Gazipaşa () is a municipality and district of Antalya Province, Turkey. Its area is 1,111 km2, and its population is 53,702 (2022). It is situated on the Mediterranean coast, 180 km east of the city of Antalya. Gazipaşa is a quiet rural district famous for its bananas and oranges. Gazipaşa district is adjacent to Alanya to the northwest, Sarıveliler to the north, Anamur to the east, and the Mediterranean Sea to the west. Kaledran Creek
Kaledran Creek () is a short creek in Anamur ilçe (district) of Mersin Province, south Turkey. The headwaters are in the Taurus Mountains close to Güngören (former Teniste) village. It is a short creek where the birds flight distance between the headwaters and the discharge point is about But unlike other similar creeks around it doesn't dry up in the summer. In the lower reaches, it draws the border line between Anamur and the Gazipaşa ilçe of Antalya Province. The most important settlement by the river was used to be a village named after the creek. Anıtlı (formerly Kaledran or Kaliteran) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Anamur, Mersin Province, Turkey. Its population is 566 (2022). Geography Anıtlı lies on Turkish state highway D.400, which runs from west to east in southern Turkey, and is situated to the east of a creek named Kaledran. It is the westernmost point of Mersin Province. Yakacık, the former quarter of the village at the west of the creek is now in the neighbouring Antalya Province. However, although the two parts of the village are officially separated and renamed, the residents still prefer to use the name Kaledran for both parts.
