Yahoo 360°
Yahoo! 360° was a social networking and personal communication portal operated by Yahoo!, made available in 2005. It enabled users to create personal websites, share photos from Yahoo! Photos, maintain blogs and lists, create and share public profiles, and see which friends were currently online. 360° also featured a 'friends updates' section, under which each friend's latest update was summarized (e.g., blog posts, updated lists, or newly shared photos). This service was never officially launched; Yahoo! prematurely stopped developing it in 2008. Yahoo! 360° Plus Vietnam was a similar service that was launched in 2008 and is now defunct. The service that had been available in Vietnam until June 2012, then it was substituted by Yahoo! Blog. Finally, Yahoo! Blog Vietnam was officially shut down on January 17, 2013. Yahoo! Groups was a free-to-use system of Electronic mailing list, electronic mailing lists offered by Yahoo!. Prior to February 2020, Yahoo! Groups was one of the world's largest collections of online discussion boards. It allowed members to subscribe to various groups, read subscribed discussions online, view and share photos, files and bookmarks within a group, access a group calendar, create polls for group members, and receive email notifications of new discussion topics. Yahoo! Games was a section of the Yahoo! website, launched on March 31, 1998, in which Yahoo! users could play games either with other users or by themselves. The majority of Yahoo! Games was closed down on March 31, 2014, and the balance was closed on February 9, 2016. Yahoo! announced that "changes in supporting technologies and increased security requirements for our own Yahoo! web pages, made it impossible to keep the games running safely and securely". It was then announced by Yahoo! that its games section would be dissolved completely on May 13, 2016. However, the Yahoo! games service is still available on Yahoo! Japan, along with Yahoo! Auctions.
