Nokia Xpress
Nokia Xpress (also called Xpress Browser) is a discontinued mobile browser developed by Nokia and supported by Microsoft until the end of 2015. It came loaded by default with Series 40, Asha Platform and Nokia X Software Platform. It uses the Gecko rendering engine. On Nokia feature phones it was replaced by Opera browser in early 2015. About Nokia Xpress Browser uses intermediate Nokia proxy servers to optimize web pages based on the capabilities and screen size of the device. The proxy servers also compress data to reduce data transmission charges for the mobile user. The browser was released for Lumia devices in 2012. Privacy Like the Opera Mini, the Nokia Xpress browser decrypts and compresses HTTPS traffic, routing it through Nokia's own servers. This practice seeks to provide faster browsing for users of feature phones and smartphones with lower processing power (and thus lower bills for less mobile data usage). However, as pointed out by researcher Gaurang K. Pandya, ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Walibi Holland
Walibi Holland (previously called Walibi Flevo, Six Flags Holland and Walibi World) is a theme park in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands. History The park was opened in 1971 as 'Flevohof'. The park also adopted the wallaby mascot of its sister park, ''Walibi Wavre'' in Belgium created in 1975 by Eddy Meeùs, a Belgian businessman. (The name 'Walibi', incidentally, is derived from the first two letters of three towns in Belgium put together to form a single word: Wavre - Limal - Bierges). Distributed File System (Microsoft)
Distributed File System (DFS) is a set of client and server services that allow an organization using Microsoft Windows servers to organize many distributed Server Message Block, SMB file shares into a distributed file system. DFS has two components to its service: Location transparency (via the namespace component) and Redundancy (via the file replication component). Together, these components enable data availability in the case of failure or heavy load by allowing shares in multiple different locations to be logically grouped under one folder, the "DFS root". Microsoft's DFS is referred to interchangeably as 'DFS' and 'Dfs' by Microsoft and is unrelated to the DCE Distributed File System, which held the 'DFS' trademark but was discontinued in 2005. It is also called "MS-DFS" or "MSDFS" in some contexts, e.g. in the Samba (software), Samba user space project. Overview There is no requirement to use the two components of DFS together; it is perfectly possible to use the logic ...
