Xianju County Library (), also known as Xianju Library (), is a county-level public library located in Xianju County, Xianju, Taizhou, Zhejiang, Taizhou, Zhejiang, Zhejiang Province, China, People's Republic of China. It is under the jurisdiction of the Xianju County People's Government and is supervised by the Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports of Xianju County. The library building is located at No. 2 Jiefang Street in Xianju County and includes several branches and academies in various forms. As of July 2018, the collection of Xianju County Library reached 811,314 volumes. In 2018, it was promoted to a National first-class library, national first-grade library. The history of the library can be traced back to the Xianju County Public Library established in 1927. Xianju County
Xianju County ( Taizhou dialect, Tai-chow dialect: Sin-kü Yön) is a county of Zhejiang, China. It is under the administration of the Taizhou, Zhejiang, Taizhou city. It is the location of Shenxianju, a geological site protected by the Chinese government. Xianju is an economically underdeveloped county, relying somewhat on tourism. On October 15, Shenxianju scenic spot became a Tourist Attraction Rating Categories of China, national 5A level scenic spot. National First-class Library
The national first-class, first-level or first-grade libraries (in ) are state-level libraries that have been deliberated and decided upon by the State Council of the People's Republic of China. The seventh evaluation was conducted in 2023. Requirements National first-level libraries must meet six standards: * The building area should not be less than 6,000 square meters. * The annual subsidy funding should not be less than 800,000 RMB. * The ratio of staff with a college degree or above should not be less than 60% of the total workforce. * The annual total number of books added to the collection should not be less than 5,000. * The annual number of books lent outside should not be less than 200,000 times. * The score for "modern technology equipment, database construction, and automation network construction" evaluation should not be less than 80 points.
