X Filme Creative Pool is a German television and film production company based in Berlin. History X Filme was founded in 1994 in Berlin by the directors Tom Tykwer, Dani Levy and Wolfgang Becker and the producer Stefan Arndt. The inspiration for X Filme Creative Pool were the founders of United Artists, with the idea that artistic and, above all, economic independence should enable more creative work. In 2000, however, 50.1% of the shares were sold to Berlin-based Senator Film. In 2000, the company founded its own film distribution company , which works closely with the German branch of Warner Bros., Warner Bros. Pictures Germany, using its distribution structure. X Filme has also been working with Warner Home Video in the home entertainment sector since the end of 2001, supplying content that WHV Germany and WHV Switzerland distribute through their traditional channels. Oskar Roehler
Oskar Roehler (born 21 January 1959) is a German film director, screenwriter and journalist. He was born in Starnberg, the son of writers Gisela Elsner and Klaus Roehler. Since the mid-1980s, he has been working as a screenwriter, for, among others, Niklaus Schilling, Christoph Schlingensief and Mark Schlichter. Since the early 1990s, he has also been working as a film director. For his film No Place to Go (2000 film), No Place to Go he won the Deutscher Filmpreis. It follows the life of Sissi ( Franka Potente), a psychiatric hospital nurse who, after a near-death experience, enters into a relationship with Bodo ( Benno Fürmann), an anguished former soldier who lapses into criminality. Sebastian Schipper
Sebastian Schipper (born 8 May 1968) is a German actor and filmmaker. Life and career Sebastian Schipper studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg Schule in Munich from 1992 to 1995. He got his first film role in Sönke Wortmann's '' Little Sharks'' from 1992. He debuted as director with '' Absolute Giganten'' from 1999, which received the second place prize for the German Film Award for Best Fiction Film.
