Woroba District
Woroba District (french: District du Woroba) is one of 14 administrative districts of Ivory Coast. It is in the northeast part of the country. Its capital is Séguéla. Creation Woroba District was created in a 2011 administrative reorganisation of the subdivisions of Ivory Coast.Décret n° 2011-263 du 28 septembre 2011 portant organisation du territoire national en Districts et en Régions. The territory of the district was composed by merging the regions of Bafing and Worodougou. Yamoussoukro Autonomous District
Yamoussoukro (; , locally ) is the ''de jure'' capital of Ivory Coast and an autonomous district. As of the 2014 census, Yamoussoukro is the fifth most populous city in Ivory Coast with a population of 212,670. Located north-west of Abidjan, the district of Yamoussoukro covers among rolling hills and plains. Yamoussoukro became the legal capital of the Ivory Coast in 1983, although the former capital Abidjan retains several political functions. Séguéla Department is a department of Worodougou Region in Woroba District, Ivory Coast. In 2021, its population was 298,384 and its seat is the settlement of Séguéla. The sub-prefectures of the department are Bobi-Diarabana, Dualla, Kamalo, Massala, Séguéla, Sifié, and Worofla. Worodougou Region
Worodougou Region is one of the 31 regions of Ivory Coast and is currently one of three regions of Woroba District. The region's seat is Séguéla. The region's population in the 2021 census was 429,812. Departments Worodougou is currently divided into two departments: Kani and Séguéla. History Worodougou Region was established in 1997 as a first-level administrative subdivision. At its establishment, it included all of the territory that is today Woroba District.
