Weekend Live
''Weekend Live'' is an American news/talk television program on Fox News Channel. The program featured live news story updates from correspondents, analysis from a number of different regular contributors, interviews with newsmakers of the week, and regular subject specific segments. Compared to other programming on the network, it didn't feature a commentary segment, but does have regular one-minute "Fox Real Time" news recaps. Broadcast live from the network's Washington, D.C. studios from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday and 12:00–2:00 p.m. Sunday ET, the show was hosted by Bret Baier. The show had been previously hosted by Tony Snow from 2002 until 2003 on both ends of the weekend, and from 2003 until his departure to join the White House, on Saturdays, followed by Brian Wilson. The Eastern Time Zone (ET) is a time zone encompassing part or all of 23 states in the eastern part of the United States, parts of eastern Canada, the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico, Panama, Colombia, mainland Ecuador, Peru, and a small portion of westernmost Brazil in South America, along with certain Caribbean and Atlantic islands. ''America's News Headquarters'' (seen on air as ''America's News HQ'') was a weekend afternoon news program broadcast on Fox News Channel; it also refers to the headline recaps showing at the top and bottom of the non-''hard news'' hours. The show has also been broadcast from 1-4am (weeknights) or 1-6am (weekends) ET during nights of heavy breaking news/event coverage. During election years the program is temporarily replaced by ''America's Election Headquarters''. The term "America's HQ" (and later "News HQ" / "Election HQ") is seen on the bottom of the channel's rotating logo (on the left hand side) after the Election season. ''America's News HQ'' follows the same format as its predecessor, ''Fox News Live''. The weekday edition of ''America's News HQ'' was replaced on the schedule with ''The Daily Briefing with Dana Perino'' on October 2, 2017. 2008 United States Presidential Election
The 2008 United States presidential election was the 56th quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. The Democratic ticket of Barack Obama, the junior senator from Illinois, and Joe Biden, the senior senator from Delaware, defeated the Republican ticket of John McCain, the senior senator from Arizona, and Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska. Obama became the first African American to be elected to the presidency, as well as being only the third sitting United States senator elected president, joining Warren G. Harding and John F. Kennedy. Meanwhile, Biden became the first senator running mate of a senator elected president since Lyndon B. Johnson (who was Kennedy's running mate) in the 1960 election. ''America's Election Headquarters'' is a news program focusing on news concerning national elections and current affairs broadcast on the Fox News that formerly appeared weekdays 5pm (and later 2pm) Eastern Time and various times in the weekends during election years. During The Obama Era 2008 elections ''America's Election Headquarters'' debuted during the 2008 United States election season. The show was originally hosted by Megyn Kelly and Bill Hemmer in its first run. On June 10, 2008, the show was replaced by a new series called '' Just In'', starring conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham. Ingraham's show was short-lived (whether or not this was by design has not been determined), and on July 7 ''America's Election Headquarters'' returned, hosted by E. D. Hill, who formerly hosted '' America's Pulse'' on FNC. Since Hill's hosting stint, various Fox News personalities have served as hosts, including Hemmer and Kelly. Molly Henneberg
Mary Janne "Molly" Henneberg (born August 13, 1973) is an American former news reporter for the Fox News Channel. She had joined the network in 2001 and was based at the network's Washington, D.C. bureau. Henneberg left Fox News in December 2014. On October 3, 2015, she reported again on Fox News. Biography During her career at Fox News Channel, she has been a White House correspondent and covered the 2004 Presidential campaign. In 2003 she reported from Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Recently, she presented live coverage of Hurricane Katrina from Mississippi and reported on the hurricane recovery efforts from Louisiana. Prior to joining Fox News Channel, Henneberg was the medical reporter for WBRE-TV in Wilkes Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was also an early evening anchor and medical reporter at WPBN-TV in Traverse City, Michigan, and began her career as a reporter for WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland. Catherine Herridge (born May 18, 1964) is a CBS News senior investigative correspondent currently based in Washington D.C. She began her role at CBS in November 2019 after leaving her role as Chief Intelligence correspondent for Fox News Channel. She had hosted the Saturday edition of '' Weekend Live''. White House
The White House is the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., and has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800. Bret Baier
William Bret Baier ( ; born August 4, 1970) is the host of ''Special Report with Bret Baier'' on the Fox News Channel and the chief political correspondent for Fox. He previously worked as the network's Chief White House Correspondent and Pentagon correspondent. Early life Baier was born in Rumson, New Jersey, to a family of mixed German and Irish origins. Raised Catholic, he attended Marist School, a private Roman Catholic high school in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating in 1988. Baier then attended the methodist DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, graduating in 1992 with a BA degree in political science and English. At DePauw, he became a member of the Xi Chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
