Electoral District Of Bundoora
Bundoora is an electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly. It covers an area of in north-eastern Melbourne, encompassing the suburbs of Bundoora, Kingsbury, Watsonia and Watsonia North, and parts of Greensborough, Macleod, Mill Park and Yallambie. It also includes the central campus of La Trobe University. It lies within the Northern Metropolitan Region of the upper house, the Legislative Council. Bundoora has been a safe seat for the Labor Party throughout its history. It was first contested in 1976, and was won by John Cain, son of former premier John Cain. Watsonia Railway Station
Watsonia railway station is located on the Hurstbridge line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the north-eastern Melbourne suburb of Watsonia, and it opened on 23 June 1924. History Watsonia station opened on 23 June 1924, and was provisionally known as Collina during construction. Like the suburb itself, the station is named after Frank Watson, a local landowner who subdivided his property ''Grace Park'' into the ''Grace Park Station Estate''. The current station dates back to 1977, when this section of the railway line was lowered to remove a number of level crossings. In 1979, the line between Macleod and Greensborough was duplicated. North East Link
The North East Link is an under construction 26–kilometre tolled motorway scheme in Melbourne, Australia. Its stated objective is to connect the Metropolitan Ring Road at Greensborough with the Eastern Freeway at Bulleen, where the freeway would be upgraded from Hoddle Street to Springvale Road at Nunawading. Other components of the project include the construction of a new dedicated busway and park and ride car parking facilities.
