WNBW-DT (channel 9) is a television station in Gainesville, Florida, United States, affiliated with NBC. It is owned by MPS Media, which maintains a local marketing agreement (LMA) with New Age Media, owner of High Springs–licensed dual CBS/MyNetworkTV affiliate WGFL (channel 28) and low-power, Class A Antenna TV affiliate WYME-CD (channel 45), for the provision of certain services. WYME-CD, virtual channel 45 ( UHF digital channel 27), is a low-powered, Class A Antenna TV- affiliated television station licensed to Gainesville, Florida, United States. Owned by New Age Media, it is sister to two full-power stations: High Springs-licensed dual CBS/MyNetworkTV affiliate WGFL (channel 28) and Gainesville-licensed NBC affiliate WNBW-DT (channel 9). The latter is actually owned by MPS Media but operated by New Age Media under a local marketing agreement (LMA). WCJB-TV (channel 20) is a television station in Gainesville, Florida, United States, affiliated with ABC and The CW Plus. Owned by Gray Television, the station maintains studios on Northwest 43rd Street in Gainesville, and its transmitter is located near Micanopy, Florida. History WCJB began broadcasting April 7, 1971 as an NBC affiliate owned by William E. "Bill" Minshall. Newberry is a city located in the southwest corner of Alachua County, Florida, United States. The population was 7,342 as of the 2020 Census.
