Wu Rong-i
Wu Rong-i (; born 15 December 1939) is a Taiwanese politician. Wu was the Vice Premier in 2005–2006., and now serves as senior advisor to Tsai Ing-wen, current President of Taiwan, and as Chairman of Taiwania Capital Management Corporation, the investment arm of Taiwan. Education In 1962 and 1965, Wu received his B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the National Taiwan University. Afterward, he obtained his doctoral degree in economics from Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. Work From 1992 to 1993, Wu served as Commissioner and Member of the Fair Trade Commission (Taiwan). He became Director and President of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research from 1993 until 2005, and from 2005 onwards he was Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan of Taiwan. From 2001 to 2005, Wu was President and Chairman of Taiwan Stock Exchange. Taiwan Futures Exchange
The Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX; ) was established in 1998. It offers futures and options on major Taiwan stock indices, government bond futures, equity options and 30-day CP interest rate futures. The development of Taiwan's futures market may be divided into two stages. In the first stage, foreign futures were allowed for trading; the second stage marked the creation of a domestic futures market. The ''Foreign Futures Trading Law'' was enacted in June 1992 to provide a legal basis for investors to trade at foreign futures markets. The ''Futures Trading Law'' was enacted in March 1997, which replaced the ''Foreign Futures Trading Law'' and established the legal guidelines for the domestic futures market. The pan-Green coalition, pan-Green force or pan-Green groups is a nationalist political coalition in Taiwan (Republic of China), consisting of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Taiwan Statebuilding Party (TSP), Taiwan Solidarity Union (TSU), Social Democratic Party (SDP), Green Party Taiwan, and Taiwan Constitution Association (TCA). The platform of the New Power Party is also very closely aligned with all the other Pan-Green parties. The pan-Blue coalition, pan-Blue force or pan-Blue groups is a political coalition in the Republic of China (Taiwan) consisting of the Kuomintang (KMT), People First Party (PFP), New Party (CNP), Non-Partisan Solidarity Union (NPSU), and Young China Party (YCP). The name comes from the party color of the Kuomintang.
