Woking F.C.
Woking Football Club is a professional association football club, based in Woking, Surrey, England. The team competes in the National League, the fifth level of the English football league system. Founded in 1887, they joined the Isthmian League in 1911–12 and won the FA Amateur Cup in 1957–58. Woking were relegated twice in 1982–83 and 1984–85. However, they were promoted three times: in 1986–87, 1989–90 and 1991–92, to reach the Football Conference. Woking won the FA Trophy on three occasions throughout the 1990s and finished as runners-up in the Conference in their third and fourth season at that level but were not promoted. They remained at the highest level of non-League football until relegation in 2008–09. Woking subsequently won promotion back in 2011–12 before suffering another relegation in 2017–18. The 1990–91 FA Cup was the 110th season of the world's oldest knockout football competition, The Football Association Challenge Cup, or FA Cup for short. Tottenham Hotspur won the competition after coming from 1–0 behind in the final against Nottingham Forest to win 2–1 and take the trophy. It gave Tottenham their eighth victory in nine FA Cup Finals and their first since their wins in 1981 and 1982. Kevin Mark Sheedy (born 21 October 1959) is a football coach and former Republic of Ireland international player. He spent the largest portion of his playing career with Everton – with whom he won the FA Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup and two Football League titles – and also played for Hereford United, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Blackpool. Born in Builth Wells, Wales, he played 46 times for the Republic of Ireland national team and scored the country's first ever goal in a FIFA World Cup finals. The Football League First Division was the top division of the Football League in England from 1888 until the end of the 1991–92 season, when its teams broke away to form the Premier League. From 1992 to 2004, the name First Division was given to what had previously been called the Second Division. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the Essex Chronicle, ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. The term was eventually adopted by many other sports including hockey, association football, Formula 1 racing, rugby, and water polo. Tim Buzaglo
Tim Buzaglo (born 20 June 1961) is an English former footballer and cricketer. Football career Buzaglo began his career at Guildford & District League club Weysiders in 1979, later joining Woking. His moment of glory came in the FA Cup Third Round in 1991 at West Bromwich Albion. Trailing 1–0 at half time, Buzaglo scored a hat-trick in the second half to help Woking to a 4–2 win. In the Fourth Round tie, Woking narrowly lost 1–0 to Everton. Soon afterwards, Buzaglo suffered a serious injury and left Woking after a failed comeback attempt, later signing for Marlow. Following his time at Marlow, Buzaglo had a spell at Wealdstone, before retiring in 1997 due to injuries. Buzaglo was placed in the FA's Team of Heroes to commemorate 125 years of the FA Cup in 2006.
