''Wives – Ten Years After'' () is a 1985 Norwegian drama film directed by Anja Breien. Anja Breien
Anja Breien (born 12 July 1940) is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. One of the leading figures of the Norwegian film industry, and one of the first women to rise to prominence as a writer-director in Norway, Breien's body of work in fiction and documentary explores social and political issues, notably women's rights within the context of Norwegian society. Career After completing her studies in French at the University of Oslo, Breien went on to graduate from the French film school L'Institut des hautes études cinématographiques (IDHEC) in 1964. She began working in film as a script supervisor on the Nils R. Müller film '' Det Store Varpet'' in 1961. Frøydis Armand
Frøydis Armand (9 April 1949 – 11 October 2022) was a Norwegian actress. She was the daughter of actor Eilif Armand, and sister of Merete Armand and Gisken Armand, both actresses. She worked at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre) from 1972 onward, acting in plays such as Henrik Ibsen's ''Little Eyolf'', and Shakespeares ''Othello''. Though primarily a stage actress, Armand was probably best known to the general audience as one of the three protagonists in Anja Breien's ''Hustruer''–trilogy: ''Hustruer'' (1975), ''Hustruer – ti år etter'' (1985) and ''Hustruer III'' (1996). Katja Medbøe
Katja Maria Riosianu Medbøe (3 December 1945 – c. 13 November 1996) was a Norwegian actress. She graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1968, and acted both at Den Nationale Scene and at the National Theatre. Medbøe was best known for her role in the ''Hustruer''-trilogy (Wives), along with Frøydis Armand and Anne Marie Ottersen. She also released records with poetry readings set to music. In December 1996, Medbøe's sister, Wenche Medbøe, announced that Katja had been missing for three weeks, and made a public appeal for tips. As a result of a head injury she had experienced pain from the stage lighting. On 12 November she had left the hospital and not been seen since. On 3 May 1997, she was found dead in Nordmarkaa forest area north of Oslo. Medbøe had two children. Svein Wickstrøm
Svein Wickstrøm (March 17, 1936 – December 15, 2006) was a Norwegian actor and revue artist. He was employed at the Trøndelag Theater for 35 years. Wickstrøm was born in Oslo. He made his stage debut with Leif Juster at the Edderkoppen Theater in 1955. After training at the National Theater School, he spent two years with the National Traveling Theater and then five years at Chat Noir. In 1968 he started performing at the Trøndelag Theater, and he remained there until he retired in 2003. Together with Helle Ottesen and Jakob Margido Esp, he performed in the cabaret show ''Store Lille Otto'', which was staged around 200 times. This performance came in several versions, called ''Store lille Trondhjem'' and finally ''Store lille verden'' in the 1990s.
