Mildura is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Victoria and sits within the Northern Victoria electorate. It is a 37,529 km2 rural electorate in the far-north-west of the state, encompassing the regional towns of Hopetoun, Mildura, Ouyen, Red Cliffs and Robinvale. It is currently represented by independent Ali Cupper. Brim is a small town in the Wimmera region of Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. The town is located north west of the state capital, Melbourne on the Henty Highway. History The area was first settled by Europeans in 1846 when the Brim Station (Australian agriculture), station was established on the banks of the Yarriambiack Creek. When the town was surveyed in 1890, it was laid out over part of the station cemetery. One grave, that of James Simson, is still in good condition on the side of the road now called Simson Street.
