Werner Müller (born 22 May 1907, Emmerich; died 8 March 1990, Bad Urach) was a German ethnologist and symbologist.This article is begun as a translation of the equivalent article in the German Wikipedia. His principal field of research, and the subject of several books, was the Native American mythology and literature of North America, though his studies of the sacral patterns in the founding of European settlements (e.g. ''Kreis und Kreuz'', 1938: ''Die heilige Stadt'', 1961) were also substantial. Werner Müller (2 August 1920 – 28 December 1998) was a German composer, kapellmeister and conductor of light classical music and, to a greater extent, popular music. In some of his works, he collaborated with Caterina Valente and Horst Fischer, the trumpeter. Career In 1949, Müller took over the then newly re-established dance orchestra of RIAS Berlin merican Sector Radio whose style followed the formula of "swing with a lot of string". In the 1950s and 1960s, Müller's was famous for his composition "Sport and Music" from the sports reporting in the weekly show. A world success became his arrangement of " Malagueña" in the mid -1950s, composed around 1928 by the Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona, in the vocal version with multilingual singer Caterina Valente. Müller proudly named his own motor yacht after this title. Wilhelm Werner Müller (1 June 1946 – 15 July 2019) was a German businessman and politician. He served as Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy from 1998 to 2002. He then became CEO of RAG AG from 2003, of which Evonik was derived in 2007. His management of a reduction in Germany's dependence on coal in a socially responsible way won him the Manager of the Year award in Germany in 2008. He was chairman of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bahn. Career Born in Essen, Müller attended the in Meppen, completing his Abitur in 1965. Werner Müller (born 7 September 1949) is a German mathematician. His research focuses on global analysis and automorphic forms. Biography Werner Müller grew up in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). He studied mathematics at the Humboldt University of Berlin in East Berlin. In 1977 he completed his PhD under the supervision of Herbert Kurke. In his thesis, ''Analytische Torsion Riemannscher Mannigfaltigkeiten,'' he solved, at the same time as but independently of Jeff Cheeger, the Ray–Singer conjecture on the equality between analytic torsion and Reidemeister torsion. Thereafter he moved to the Karl-Weierstraß-Institut für Mathematik of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR.
