Wey (state)
Wei (; ), commonly spelled Wey to distinguish from the contemporary larger Wei (state), Wei () state, was an State (Ancient China), ancient Chinese state that was founded in the early Western Zhou dynasty and rose to prominence during the Spring and Autumn period. Its rulers were of the surname Ji (), the same as that of the rulers of Zhou. It was located in modern northeastern Henan Province, east of Jin (Chinese state), Jin (and later Wei ), and west of Cao (state), Cao. Early history The history of Wey dates back to the beginning of the Zhou dynasty and the Rebellion of the Three Guards. Epsilon Scorpii (ε Scorpii, abbreviated Eps Sco, ε Sco), formally named Larawag , is a star in the southern zodiac constellation of Scorpius. It has an apparent visual magnitude of +2.3, making it the fifth-brightest member of the constellation. The Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT) is a module of Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 that is available in the Control Panel (Windows), Control Panel under ''Performance Information and Tools'' (except in Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11). Web Environment Integrity (WEI) is an abandoned API proposal previously under development for Google Chrome. A Web Environment Integrity prototype existed in Chromium, but was removed in November 2023 after extensive criticism by many tech groups. Its purpose was to verify that interactions with websites were human and authentic as defined by third-party attesters. Proposal The draft proposed an API for websites to get a digitally signed token that contains the certifier's name and whether or not they deem the web client to be authentic. The stated goal was for sites to be able to restrict access to human users instead of automated programs and "allow web servers to evaluate the authenticity of the device and honest representation of the software stack and the traffic from the device".
