III liga (Trzecia liga), currently named Betclic III liga due to its sponsorship by Betclic, is a Polish football league that sits in the fourth tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season, III liga referred to a league at the third tier (now called II liga) but this was changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. 2024–25 III Liga
The 2024–25 III liga (also known as Betclic III liga for sponsorship reasons) is the 17th season of the fourth tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 2008 under its current title ( III liga) and the 8th season under its current league division format. The league is operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). The competition is contested by 72 clubs split geographically across 4 groups of 18 teams, with the winners of each group gaining promotion to the II liga. The season is played in a round-robin tournament. It began in August 2024 and will conclude in June 2025. The teams include semi-professional clubs (although a few are professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. From this season onwards, promotion/relegation play-offs will be played, with two second-placed teams facing teams placed 13th and 14th from the II liga. Świecie (; ) is a town in northern Poland with 24,841 inhabitants (2023), capital of Świecie County in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is located within the ethnocultural region of Kociewie in the historic region of Pomerania. Founded in the Middle Ages, Świecie prospered as a trade center due to its location at the intersection of important trade routes. IV liga Kuyavia-Pomerania group (grupa kujawsko-pomorska) is one of the groups of IV liga, the fifth level of Polish football league system. The league inaugurated with the 2000–01 season, after introducing a new administrative division of Poland. The Polish Cup in Association football, football ( ) is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout football competition for Polish football club (association football), football clubs, held continuously since 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( ). Participation is open to any club registered with the PZPN, Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid or not.
