Watthana District
Watthana or Vadhana (, ) is one of the Districts of Bangkok, 50 districts (''khet'') of Bangkok, Thailand. Neighbouring districts are (from the north clockwise): Ratchathewi district, Ratchathewi, Huai Khwang district, Huai Khwang, Suan Luang district, Suan Luang, Phra Khanong district, Phra Khanong, Khlong Toei district, Khlong Toei, and Pathum Wan district, Pathum Wan. History Watthana became a separate district by splitting from Khlong Toei in 1998 to provide better service to its population. The district obtained its name from Princess Galyani Vadhana, the elder sister of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Watthana or Vadhana means 'development'. The area is among the most developed parts of Bangkok. On 1 January 2009, Watthana was the location of the Santika Club fire, which killed 66 and injured 222. Bhumibol Adulyadej
Bhumibol Adulyadej (5 December 192713 October 2016), titled Rama IX, was King of Thailand from 1946 until Death and funeral of Bhumibol Adulyadej, his death in 2016. His reign of 70 years and 126 days is the longest of any List of Thai monarchs, Thai monarch, the longest on record of any independent Asian sovereign, and the List of longest-reigning monarchs, third-longest of any sovereign state. Asok Montri Road

Terminal 21 Asok and Grand Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 () is a chain of mixed-use complexes with 4 locations in Thailand; Asok and Rama III in Bangkok, Korat, and Pattaya. The first location was opened in October 2011, located on Sukhumvit Road, by the Asoke intersection, in Watthana District of Bangkok, Thailand. The EmQuartier is a large shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand opened in May 2015. The mall is connected to Phrom Phong BTS Station on the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain. It is one of three malls in the “EM District”, along with Emporium and EmSphere. Khlong Saen Saep
Khlong Saen Saep (, ) is a canal ''(khlong)'' in central Thailand, connecting the Chao Phraya River to Prachinburi Province and Chachoengsao Province, Chachoengsao. A portion of the canal is used for public transport by an express boat service in Bangkok. The 72 km long canal passes through 21 districts and is connected to more than 100 smaller canals. Sukhumvit Road (, , ), or Highway 3 (), is a major road in Thailand, and a major surface road of Bangkok and other cities.
