The Warren Motor Car Company Building, also known as Lincoln Motor Car Company Building, is a factory located at 1331 Holden Street in Detroit, Michigan, now part of the Lincoln Street Art Park. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020. History Warren Motor Car Company In the first decade of the 20th century, Detroit was booming with new industry, in particular new automotive companies. One of these was the Warren Motor Car Company, founded in 1909 by real estate magnate Homer Warren. The company occupied a building along U.S. Route 12 in Michigan, Michigan Avenue on the west side of Detroit, and produced 1000 vehicles in its first year. Lincoln Motor Company Plant
The Lincoln Motor Company Plant was an automotive plant at 6200 West Warren Avenue (at Livernois) in Detroit, Michigan, later known as the Detroit Edison Warren Service Center. The complex was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1978, due to its historic association with World War I Liberty engines and the Lincoln Motor Company. However, the main structures were demolished in 2003 and NHL designation was withdrawn in 2005. Henry Leland's Lincoln Beginning in 1902, Henry Leland steered Cadillac to become a popular, high quality luxury automobile brand. The Liberty L-12 is an American water-cooled 45° V-12 aircraft engine displacing and making designed for a high power-to-weight ratio and ease of mass production. The Lozier Motor Company was a brass era producer of luxury automobiles in the United States. The company produced automobiles from 1900 to 1918, in Plattsburgh, New York and from 1910, at Detroit, Michigan. History Lozier Motor Company was founded by Henry Abram Lozier, an Indiana-born sewing machine and bicycle manufacturer.
