Walter Vílchez
Walter Ricardo Vílchez Soto (born 20 February 1982) is a Peruvian former professional footballer who played as a centre-back He made 64 appearances for the Peru national team. He is the older brother of Óscar Vílchez. Club career Vílchez made his league debut in the Torneo Descentralizado in the 2000 season playing for Deportivo Wanka. In the following two seasons he played for, successively, smaller clubs Unión Minas and Sport Coopsol Trujillo. In 2003, he joined top Peruvian club Alianza Lima, who were national champions in 2003 and 2004. In the first half of 2005 Vilchez played with Club Olimpo de Bahía Blanca (Argentina). In the second half of 2005 he returned to Peru to play for Sporting Cristal and won the 2005 league title. In 2007, he went to Mexico to play for Club Deportivo Cruz Azul. Chiclayo
Chiclayo (; mochica language, Mochica: ''Cɥiclaiæp'') is the principal city and capital of the Lambayeque region and Chiclayo Province in northern Peru. It is located from the Pacific coast, from the city of Trujillo, Peru, Trujillo, and from the country's capital, Lima. The city was originally founded by Spanish priests as "Santa María de los Valles de Chiclayo" in the 16th century, acting as a small town of passage and rest of travelers. Club Deportivo Coopsol is a Peruvian football club, based in Chancay, Lima. The club was founded in 1964 under their original name Club Deportivo Seman-FAP (Fuerza Aérea del Perú). Later in 1999 the club's name was changed to Aviación-FAP. Then in 2001 they were known as Deportivo Aviación and changed to their current name ''Deportivo Coopsol'' in 2009. The club currently participates in the Peruvian Segunda División. Oscar Joaquín Velazquez Elvira (born 11 September 1975) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a defender. Early life He was born in Veracruz, Mexico on 8 November 1975, his father Joaquín Velázquez senior was a massage therapist, for Veracruz. He would join Veracruz youth system as a child and would later go on to join the Puebla FC youth system in 1992 where he finished his development. The 2012 Torneo Descentralizado de Fútbol Profesional (known as the 2012 Copa Movistar for sponsorship reasons) is the ninety-sixth season of Association Peruvian football. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament, with Juan Aurich as the defending champion. The Torneo Descentralizado began on February 19 and ended on December 9, 2012. 2000 Torneo Descentralizado
The 2000 season of the Torneo Descentralizado was the 85th season of the top category of Peruvian football (soccer). It was played by 12 teams. The national champion was Universitario. Competition modus The national championship was divided into two tournaments, the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura. Each was played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. The winners of each would play for the national title in a play-off, but since the same club had won both tournaments, it automatically won the national championship. Óscar Vílchez
Óscar Christopher Vílchez Soto (born 21 January 1986) is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Alianza Universidad. He is the younger brother of footballer Walter Vílchez. Club career Vílchez was promoted to the first team of Alianza Lima in 2004 by Gustavo Costas, in that year he made his official debut. He scored his first goal in the Descentralizado on 31 July 2005 in the 4–0 home victory against Sport Ancash. In January 2006 he was loaned out to Sport Ancash for the start of the 2006 season. In January 2007 he was loaned out to Arequipa giants FBC Melgar for the first half of the 2007 season. He returned to Alianza in July 2007 and played several matches.
