Walter Dießner
Walter Dießner (born 26 December 1954) is a retired German rower who had his best achievements in the coxed fours. In this event he won a silver and a gold medal at the 1976 and 1980 Olympics, respectively, as well as four world titles in 1974, 1977, 1978 and 1979. His twin brother Ullrich Ullrich (), is a surname of Germanic origin. Other variants include Ulrich, Ulrych/Ullrych, Ulryk/Ullryk, and many more. Meißen
Meissen ( ), is a town of approximately 30,000 about northwest of Dresden and 75 km (46 mi) west of Bautzen on both banks of the Elbe river in the Free State of Saxony, in eastern Germany. Rowing is the act of propelling a human-powered watercraft using the sweeping motions of oars to displace water and generate reactional propulsion.
