Wakeley is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 34 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Fairfield. Fairfield is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly of the Australian state of New South Wales in Sydney's West. Fairfield has historically been one of the safest seats in New South Wales and is considered a part of Labor's heartland in Western Sydney. Mari Emmanuel (born 19 July 1970) is an Iraqi-born Assyrian Australian Metropolitan bishop of the Ancient Assyrian Church of the East who presides over the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand. Early life Mar Mari Emmanuel was born Robert Shlimon at T1 station in Haditha, Iraq and he settled in Australia in the early 1980s.
