Margareta Wahlström
Margareta Wahlström (born 30 March 1950) is a Swedish diplomat and social scientist who has held leading positions in the Red Cross and the United Nations. Specializing in disaster relief, from 2008 to 2015 she served as UN Assistant Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, simultaneously heading the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction. In May 2017, she was elected President of the Swedish Red Cross. Biography Born on 30 March 1950, Margareta Wahlström was brought up in Boden in north-eastern Sweden. Wahlströms
Wahlströms was a dansband from Vadstena, Sweden, established in 1985. In 1999, the band participated in the " Dansbandslåten" contest with the song "Blå blå ögon". On 27 September 2011, it was announced that the band was to be disestablished following the last appearance at Brunnsparken in Örebro on 14 January 2012. Wahlströms participated at Dansbandskampen in 2008. Wahlstrom Peak
Wahlstrom Peak is a high, sharp peak at the southeast side of the ice-covered Vinson Plateau in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It surmounts the head of Roché Glacier to the northwest and Hammer Col to the southeast. The peak was named by US-ACAN in 2006 after Richard W. Wahlstrom, member of the 1966–67 American Antarctic Mountaineering Expedition that made the first ascent of Mount Vinson, the summit of Antarctica, and other high mountains in the Sentinel Range. Wahlström & Widstrand is a Swedish book publishing company. Wahlström & Widstrand was established in 1885 by two book sellers in Stockholm, Per Karl Wahlström and Wilhelm Widstrand. The company started publishing fiction in the 1890s and later also published non-fiction works, especially historical biographies. Foreign authors introduced by Wahlström & Widstrand to Swedish readers in the first half of the 20th century include Hermann Hesse, Thomas Mann, Joseph Conrad, Maxim Gorky and Henri Bergson as well as later authors such as Franz Kafka in the 1940s, William Styron in the 1950s and Joseph Heller in the 1960s. Oliver Joakim Wahlstrom (born June 13, 2000) is an American professional ice hockey right winger for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the New York Islanders, 11th overall, in the 2018 NHL entry draft. Magnus Wahlström
Magnus Wahlström (October 28, 1903 in Surahammar Municipality, Sweden – January 30, 1972 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA), often Wahlstrom in English, was a Swedish American entrepreneur and later a philanthropist. He was married to Agnes (née Johnson); they had a daughter, Eleanora. In his youth he worked on Surahammar's Mill, first in the office and then in the mechanical workshop. Wahlstrom moved to the United States in 1923. His first stop was Chicago. In Chicago he met another Swedish American, Rudolph Bannow (1897–1962). Another friend was Gerhard 'Gerry' T. Rooth.
