The WWE Intercontinental Championship is a men's professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE, defended on the Raw brand division. It is one of two secondary championships for WWE's main roster, along with the WWE United States Championship on SmackDown. The current champion is Dominik Mysterio, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating previous champion Bron Breakker, Penta, and Finn Bálor, whom Mysterio pinned, in a fatal four-way match on night two of WrestleMania 41 on April 20, 2025. Dominik Óscar Gutiérrez (born April 5, 1997) is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand under the ring name Dominik Mysterio, and he is a member of The Judgment Day stable. He is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion in his first reign. Mysterio is also a former two-time NXT North American Champion. The 1992 SummerSlam was the fifth annual SummerSlam professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE).
