Viv Windsor
Viv Hope (also Dawson and Windsor) is a fictional character from the Television in the United Kingdom, British ITV (TV network), ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale''. Portrayed by Deena Payne, the character first appeared on 10 August 1993, and remained until 13 January 2011, becoming one of the List of longest-serving soap opera actors#United Kingdom, longest serving characters, after nearly 18 years in the show. Viv currently serves as the seventeenth longest running character in the history of the show. In November 2007, it was confirmed that Payne had asked for a break. To explain her absence Viv was sentenced to three years' imprisonment after she pleaded guilty to Conspiracy (crime), Conspiracy to defraud. Actually conman Freddie Yorke stole the charity money and left her to take the blame. Viv was off-screen for eleven months, but made two brief appearances in October 2008. Deena Payne
Diane Margaret "Deena" Payne (born 29 August 1954) is an English actress and former singer. She is best known for playing Viv Hope in the long-running ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale''. Life and career Payne was born in Orpington, Kent. She used to tour with ex-Animals keyboard player Alan Price as a backing singer and she was a member of the novelty girl band Cats U.K., who scored a UK top 30 hit with "Luton Airport" in October 1979. She was also one of the dancers in ''Rock Follies of '77''. Before ''Emmerdale'', Payne had acted in episodes of ''Tales of Sherwood Forest'' and ''The Bill''. She has also appeared in ''Lily Savage's Blankety Blank''. Her ''Emmerdale'' character was written out of the series in 2011 after 18 years, dying in her sleep during a fire, as the bosses felt the character had run its course. Jack Duckworth
John "Jack" Duckworth is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Bill Tarmey. The character debuted on-screen during the episode broadcast on 28 November 1979. Jack was introduced by executive producer Bill Podmore. Tarmey had previously appeared as a background character in many episodes featuring scenes in the Rovers Return, including some occasional speaking lines. Alan Price
Alan Price (born 19 April 1942) is an English musician. He was the original keyboardist for the British band the Animals before he left to form his own band the Alan Price Set. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 as a member of the Animals. He is also known for his solo work. His best known songs include "Jarrow Song" and "The House That Jack Built". Early life and career Price was born in Fatfield, Washington, County Durham. He was educated at Jarrow Grammar School, County Durham. He is a self-taught musician and was a founding member of the Tyneside group the Alan Price Rhythm and Blues Combo, which was later renamed the Animals. The cat (''Felis catus'') is a domestic species of small carnivorous mammal.
