Vito Gnutti
Vito Gnutti (14 September 1939 – 6 December 2008) was an Italian politician. Biography A member of the Executive Committee of Confindustria, in 1991 Gnutti joined the Northern League. He has been MP from 1992 to 2001 and in 1994 he served as Minister of industry, commerce and craftsmanship in the Berlusconi I Cabinet. He held the position of group leader of the Northern League in the Chamber from 1995 to 1996. In 1999 Gnutti was expelled from the Northern League, so he founded in 2000, along with Domenico Comino, the ApE; he later joined the European Democracy European Democracy ( it, Democrazia Europea, DE) was a minor Christian-democratic, centrist political party in Italy. Berlusconi I Cabinet
The first Berlusconi government was the 51st government of the Italian Republic. It was the first right-wing and non-Christian Democrats government since World War II. Berlusconi resigned on 22 December 1994. History In order to win the March 1994 general election Berlusconi formed two electoral alliances: Pole of Freedoms with the Northern League in northern Italian districts, and another, the Pole of Good Government, with the post-fascist National Alliance (heir to the Italian Social Movement) in central and southern regions. European Democracy ( it, Democrazia Europea, DE) was a minor Christian-democratic, centrist political party in Italy. Domenico Comino
Domenico Comino (born 27 September 1955) is an Italian politician, who served as the minister of European affairs and state minister in the mid-1990s. Biography Comino was born in Morozzo on 27 September 1955. He is one of the former leaders of Lega Nord. He served as state minister for the EU relations in the first cabinet of Silvio Berlusconi in 1994. Comino was one of the five Lega members in the cabinet who resigned from office in December 1994 in order to vote against Berlusconi in the censure motion. Comino served in the Italian parliament for three successive periods between 1992 and 1997. Until 1999 he was the Lega Nord's president of the Piedmont region. Lega Nord (; acronym: LN), whose complete name is (), is a right-wing, federalist, populist and conservative political party in Italy. In the run-up of the 2018 general election, the party was rebranded as (), without changing its official name. The party was nonetheless frequently referred to only as "Lega" even before the rebranding, and informally as the (). The party's latest elected leader was Matteo Salvini.
