Vito Crimi
Vito Claudio Crimi (born 26 April 1972) is an Italian politician, member of the Five Star Movement, of which he was appointed acting leader on 22 January 2020. Since 2013, he has been a serving member of the Italian Senate. Biography Vito Crimi was born in Palermo, Sicily, in 1972. He grew up in the Brancaccio district; he enrolled in a degree course in mathematics at the University of Palermo, without completing his studies. In 2000 he moved to Brescia where he worked as a court clerk at the Appellate court. In 2007 he joined the ''Friends of Beppe Grillo'' Meetup in Brescia. He was candidate for president with the Five Star Movement in the 2010 Lombard regional election, but obtained only 3% of the preferences. In 2013 he was elected Senator in the Lombardy constituency, and from 19 March to 16 June he was chairman of the parliamentary group of the Five Star Movement in the Senate. Conte I Cabinet
The first Conte government was the 65th government of the Italian Republic. It was led by Giuseppe Conte, an independent, and it was in office from 1 June 2018 to 5 September 2019. The cabinet was formed by a coalition between the Five Star Movement and the League, but it also contained some independents proposed by each party (including the Prime Minister). It was referred to as the "government of change" ( it, governo del cambiamento) after the name of the political agreement signed by the two parties, or the "yellow-green government" (), based on their customary colours, even if the League originally preferred "yellow-blue government" (), due to its new campaign colour under Salvini's leadership. The 2010 Lombard regional election took place on 28–29 March 2010. The 9th term of the Regional Council was chosen. Roberto Formigoni, who was the longest-serving President of Region in Italy along with Giancarlo Galan of Veneto, obtained a historic fourth consecutive term. His opponent was Filippo Penati, a Democrat, who was President of the Province of Milan from 2004 to 2009. The Lombard League, that is to say the regional section of Northern League in Lombardy, backed Formigoni in return of the support granted by The People of Freedom to Northern League candidates in Veneto (Luca Zaia) and Piedmont (Roberto Cota). Luigi Di Maio
Luigi Di Maio (; born 6 July 1986) is an Italian former stadium beverage vendor and politician. He served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2019 to 2022, as Deputy Prime Minister of Italy and Minister of Economic Development, Labour and Social Policies from 2018 to 2019, and as Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies in the 17th Italian legislature. From September 2017 to January 2020, Di Maio was the leader of the Five Star Movement, an anti-establishment party founded by Beppe Grillo. He resigned from this position to quell discontent and stem the flow of party desertions and expulsions after he led the party into coalition with the centre-left Democratic Party.
