Viettel F.C.
Viettel Football Club (), simply known as Viettel FC, is a Vietnamese professional Association football, football club based in Hanoi. The club belongs to the Viettel Sports Centre, a part of Viettel Group and competes in the V.League 1, the top tier of the Vietnamese football league system. Viettel, formerly known as Thể Công, is one of the most widely supported clubs and also the most successful club in Vietnamese football history, having won a record 20 national titles, including nine consecutively from 1971 to 1979. The club has also contributed many great players to the national team. Viettel's traditional colour is red, leading to the nickname ''Cơn lốc đỏ (Red Tornado)''. Hàng Đẫy Stadium
Hang Day Stadium, also known as Hanoi Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is currently used mostly for Association football, football matches. The stadium holds 22,500 spectators. In the period from 2000 to 2003, the stadium was called Hanoi Stadium. On April 24, 2003, the historic name "Hàng Đẫy" was restored. Hàng Đẫy is located in the center of Hanoi. Before the construction of Mỹ Đình National Stadium, it was where Vietnam hosted football matches of both the men and women's as well as the Olympic teams. The stadium also was the ground for various sporting and cultural events of Hanoi and Vietnam. In 1998, the opening, the Group B and the Tiger Cup 1998 Final matches took place here. Vương Tiến Dũng
Vương Tiến Dũng (born 1949 in Bắc Giang, Vietnam) is a Vietnamese football coach. After retiring from his playing career, during which he played for Thể Công (also known as the Army club) and the Vietnamese national side, Vương turned to coaching and coached a number of Vietnamese football clubs. Playing career Vương Tiến Dũng joined Công football club in May 1965, and two years later traveled to North Korea for nearly a year of training. After returning to Vietnam in May 1968, he was selected for the North Vietnamese national squad. Vương retired from professional playing in 1978. Nguyễn Cao Cường (born 1954) is the retired Vietnamese footballer who played from 1970 to 1990 as a second striker for Thể Công and Vietnam. He is widely acknowledged to have been one of the Vietnamese greatest-ever footballer in all-times.
