Vestbygda Chapel
Vestbygda Chapel ( no, Vestbygda kapell) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Farsund Municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the village of Vestbygd. It is one of the two churches for the Lista parish which is part of the Lister og Mandal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1909 using plans drawn up by the architect D.J. Meberg. The church seats about 320 people. is a municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Lister. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Farsund. Farsund is a coastal municipality in the far southwestern part of Norway, bordering Kvinesdal municipality in the north and Lyngdal in the north and east. Vestbygd, Agder
Vestbygd or Borhaug is a village in Farsund municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located on the southwestern shore of the Lista peninsula, about straight west of the village of Vanse. The Farsund Airport, Lista is located on the east side of Vestbygd. The Lista Lighthouse lies just west of the village. The village has a small harbour, surrounded by a breakwater which protects it from the open North Sea. Vestbygda Chapel is located in the village. Agder
Agder is a county (''fylke'') and traditional region in the southern part of Norway. The county was established on 1 January 2020, when the old Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder counties were merged. Since the early 1900s, the term Sørlandet ("south country, south land, southland") has been commonly used for this region, sometimes with the inclusion of neighbouring Rogaland. Before that time, the area was considered a part of Western Norway.
