Vítor Vinha
Vítor Simões da Vinha (born 11 November 1986) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a left-back, currently manager of Benfica's under-23 team. Playing career Club Vinha was born in Oliveira de Frades, Viseu District. He reached Académica de Coimbra's youth system at the age of 13, going on to represent that side, Estrela da Amadora, Olhanense and Gil Vicente in the Primeira Liga, and appeared for Aves, Beira-Mar and Famalicão in the Segunda Liga. In the 2009–10 season, Vinha competed in the Cypriot First Division with Nea Salamis Famagusta. In June 2010, he considered the possibility of taking the club to court due to unpaid wages. International Vinha won 14 caps for Portugal across all youth levels. His only appearance for the under-21 team occurred on 19 August 2008, as he played the full 90 minutes in a 2–3 friendly home loss against the Czech Republic. João António Ferreira Resende Alves (born 5 December 1952) is a Portuguese football manager and former player. A skilled attacking midfielder, he was considered one of the best Portuguese players of his generation, and earned the nickname ''Luvas Pretas'' from the black gloves he used to wear while playing following in the style of his grandfather Carlos Alves. José Carlos Alves Ferreira Pinto (born 2 March 1973) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a midfielder, currently a manager. Playing career Born in Paços de Ferreira, Pinto began his senior career at Rebordosa A.C. of the third division in 1991. A year later, he returned to his parent club F.C. Paços de Ferreira, making one substitute appearance in each of his two Primeira Liga seasons. Besides four matches – one start – for S.C. The Czech Republic national under-21 football team is the national under-21 association football team of the Czech Republic and is controlled by the Football Association of the Czech Republic. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held every two years. Although the breakup of Czechoslovakia occurred officially on 1 January 1993, the under-21 team continued until the end of the 1994 championship. After that, the Czech Republic and the Slovakia under-21s became separate footballing entities. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the 1872 Scotland v England football match, first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps.
