Vélodrome Amédée Détraux
The Vélodrome Amédée Détraux is an outdoor velodrome in Baie-Mahault, Guadeloupe, France. Before 2010 it was called Vélodrome de Gourde-Liane. The concrete track has a length of and is the largest velodrome of the Antilles. It has a capacity for 9000 spectators, making it the largest stadium in Guadeloupe. The track is used especially for cyclists from Guadeloupe. It hosted for the first time in the Antilles the French National Track Championships in 2009 and the 2014 UEC European Track Championships in October 2014. Baie-Mahault (; ) is a commune in the overseas department and region of Guadeloupe, France. It is the second most populated commune of Guadeloupe, after Les Abymes. The extensive industrial zone of Jarry in Baie-Mahault is by far the most industrialized commune in the islands and the largest industrial park in the Lesser Antilles. The Omnisport Apeldoorn, also known as the Omnisportcentrum or simply called Omnisport, is a velodrome and multisport indoor arena in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Designed by FaulknerBrowns Architects the facility opened in 2008, it is divided into two halls: a cycling hall containing track cycling, cycling track and sport of athletics, athletics track, and a volleyball hall. 2014 European Track Championships
The 2014 UEC European Track Championships was the fifth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Vélodrome Amédée Détraux in Baie-Mahault, Guadeloupe, France, between 16 and 19 October. Velodrome Suisse
The Velodrome Suisse is an indoor velodrome in Grenchen, Switzerland. The hall covers an area of 8000 square meters and has a capacity for 1800 spectators. The velodrome itself is meters long, made of Siberian spruce wood and is applied according to the UCI standards. The banked curve is 46% steep and includes a vertical drop of 7 meters. The velodrome primary serves as a training center for the Swiss team and for the junior selection, but the track is also available to recreational cyclists. European Track Championships
The European Track Cycling Championships are a set of elite level competition events held annually for the various disciplines and distances in track cycling, exclusively for European cyclists, and regulated by the European Cycling Union (UEC).
