Våvatnet
Våvatnet is a lake in Orkland Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The lake was dammed in 1910 and is used as the main reservoir for the old Orkdal Municipality. The water flows into the lake Songsjøen and then into the lake Gangåsvatnet. The lake is located about south of the village of Krokstadøra, southeast of the village of Ytre Snillfjord, and west of the village of Gjølme. Orkdal is a List of former municipalities of Norway, former municipality in Trøndelag Counties of Norway, county, Norway. Gangåsvatnet
Gangåsvatnet is a lake in Orkland Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The lake is located about southwest of the town of Orkanger and about west of the village of Fannrem in the Orkdalen valley. The water flows into the lake from the Songa river which flows out of the lake Våvatnet which is also in Orkland Municipality. The water leaves the lake through the Skjenaldelva river which ultimately flows into the Trondheimsfjord. The lake Hostovatnet lies about south of the lake.
