Vårbynätverket () is a crime gang that was active from the 2010s onwards in Stockholm's organized crime. Based in Vårby district in Huddinge Municipality, Stockholm, it was led by gangster Chihab Lamouri. Trials Encrochat evidence and trial In 2020, the Swedish police launched an operation against the network and Lamouri was arrested in Spain, suspected of planning of gang-related murders and shootings, including plans against rivals, kidnappings, robbery, gross destruction of public property, extortion and aggravated weapon crime. The arrest was made based on materials from the EncroChat communication service that was cracked by the police in France with Swedish police gaining access to thousands of encrypted conversations of the gang via Europol. Einár
Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönberg () (5 September 2002 – 21 October 2021), who was commonly known as Einár ( or ) was a Swedish rapper. He released four albums, two of which topped the Swedish album chart. In 2019, he won the Musikförläggarnas pris for Breakthrough of the Year and in 2020 he won two Grammis, Sweden's oldest pop music awards. Two of his singles peaked at number one on the Swedish singles chart and four have been certified platinum by the Swedish Recording Industry Association (SRIA). He is also featured on the number-one single "Gamora" by the group Hov1. Einár was involved in several high-profile incidents, most notably his kidnap by rival rapper Yasin and a Vårby-based criminal gang in 2020. Haval Khalil (born 16 May 1995), known mononymously as Haval, is a Swedish rapper. He has released three albums. Biography Khalil was born in Husby, northern Stockholm. He is based in Skarpnäck within the municipality of Stockholm. He broke through with his debut album ''Inloggad'' in 2020, an album produced by Manny Flaco. Haval and Manny Flaco released a number of joint singles as Haval & Manny Flaco. The songs on the album receiving great viewing on streaming platform depict a difficult street life with weapons and drugs. In April 2021, Haval was nominated for a Swedish Grammis in the "Newcomer of the Year" category. The nomination caused controversy due to Haval's involvement in gangs and in a criminal case where charges had been brought against him. () is a part of Huddinge Municipality, in Metropolitan Stockholm, Sweden, 20 km south of the city. The area got its name on 28 September 1946, when King Gustav V's chauffeur-driven 1939 Cadillac Series 75#1938–1941, Cadillac skidded off the road and ended up in a ditch (The king was uninjured). Yasin Abdullahi Mahamoud (born 11 January 1998), known as Yasin or Yasin Byn, is a Swedish hip hop artist. Early life Yasin Abdullahi Mahamoud was born to a Somali family in Rinkeby, part of the Swedish Million Programme for affordable housing in northwest Stockholm, and grew up with his mother and five siblings. His stage name Yasin Byn hints at his connection to Rinkeby, which is popularly called ''Byn'' ("the village"). Career Mahamoud started in hip hop music recording online videos with his childhood friends, including Jaffar Byn.
