Vytenis Čižauskas
Vytenis Čižauskas (born September 16, 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. He plays the point guard position. Career From an early age, Čižauskas played for the Žalgiris youth team. In his second season, he led the team in points and assists; as a consequence, he was promoted to Kaunas Triobet of BBL. In March 2009, he was moved to Žalgiris' main roster; however, the young point guard saw limited playing time in the LKL. After leaving Žalgiris, Čižauskas played for various local Lithuanian team until joining CB Valladolid of Liga ACB on loan from Žalgiris. He averaged a mediocre 2.6 points per game and 0.8 assists per game coming off the bench. In September 2013, he returned to Žalgiris and debuted in the Euroleague tournament. Lithuania Men's National Basketball Team
The Lithuania men's national basketball team () represents Lithuania in international basketball competitions. They are controlled by the Lithuanian Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Lithuania. Despite Lithuania's small size, with a population of less than 3 million, the country's devotion to basketball has made them a traditional force of the sport in Europe. The Lithuanian national team won the last EuroBasket tournaments prior to World War II, in EuroBasket 1937, 1937 and EuroBasket 1939, 1939. BC Dzūkija
BC Dzūkija () was a professional basketball club located in Alytus, Lithuania. It was founded in 2012 and participated in the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL). It was the newest basketball club based in Alytus after BC Alita and BC Alytus were dissolved. The club was bought by Lithuanian businessman Gediminas Žiemelis in June 2022, who formed BC Wolves soon after. History In 2019, the club changed its name to Sintek-Dzūkija for sponsorship reasons. The Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL) Finals is the championship finals series for the top-tier level professional club basketball league in Lithuania, the LKL, and the conclusion of the league's postseason. The Finals have been played in either a best-of-seven, or a best-of five format.
