''Wonderful Times'' (, literally ''Narrate'') is a Czech retro television series. It was produced by Dramedy Productions, whose producers Filip Bobiňski and Petr Šizling created the series with screenwriter Rudolf Merkner. The plot takes place in Czechoslovakia (later in the Czech Republic) and is set in real historical events that influence the stories of individual characters. Authors wanted to evoke atmosphere of the time with excerpts from Czechoslovak film weeklies of the time with original comments, by new historicizing commentary narrated by Vladimír Fišer, or by period music. The story is accompanied by the voice of the narrator, who was lent to the project by the actor Vojtěch Kotek and then by Matěj Hádek. The series was a large success and is considered one of the most successful projects of Czech Television. Radoslav Brzobohatý
Radoslav Brzobohatý (; 13 September 1932 – 12 September 2012) was a Czech actor. He acted in film, television and theatre, portraying around 200 roles during his career. Life and career Radoslav Brzobohatý was born on 13 September 1932 in Vrútky in the Slovak part of Czechoslovakia, into a sailor's family. In 1940, his family returned to Moravia, where they came from. He spent his childhood in Valašské Meziříčí. At the age of eight, he first appeared on stage, in an adaptation of ''Broučci''. He also played the violin in his childhood. Before finishing his studies at the gymnasium in Valašské Meziříčí, he was expelled. Roman Vojtek (born 14 April 1972) is a Czech actor, television presenter, and singer. Life and career Early life and education Vojtek, born in Vsetín in the former Czechoslovakia, had to take care of himself from the age of fourteen due to the death of his parents.
