Vršovice (Prague)
Vršovice is a cadastral district of Prague. All of Vršovice lies within the Prague 10 administrative district. Vršovice is located south-east of the city centre. It borders Vinohrady to the north, Nusle to the south-west, Michle to the south and Strašnice to the east. The name is first mentioned in 1088 in the founding document of the Vyšehrad Chapter. In 1922 the district was incorporated into the city of Prague. It has 107 streets and 1,611 addresses and has about 38,700 inhabitants. Train stations Praha-Vršovice (formerly known as ''Nusle'', ) and Praha-Eden serve this part of the city. There is a shopping centre in Vršovice, called Eden and the Jindřich Waldes, Koh-i-Noor Waldes factory, which is a manufacturer of buttons and press-studs. It should not be confused with the Czech company Koh-i-Noor Hardtmuth, one of the world's largest producers and distributors of pencils and office supplies. Czechoslovak Hussite Church
The Czechoslovak Hussite Church (, ''CČSH'' or ''CČH''; ) is a Christian church that separated from the Catholic Church after World War I in former Czechoslovakia. Both the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and Moravian Church trace their tradition back to the Hussite reformers and acknowledge Jan Hus (John Huss) as their predecessor. Svatopluk Čech (21 February 1846 – 23 February 1908) was a Czechs, Czech writer, journalist and poet. Biography Čech was born in Ostředek. He studied at Gymnasium (school), gymnasium in Prague, then studied law, and later worked in the journals ''Květy'', ''Lumír'' and ''Světozor''. Hus' House (Vršovice)
The Hus' House or Husův sbor is a Hussite church in the Vršovice area of Prague. This building was one of the first buildings in Prague built from pre-stressed concrete and brick panels. It was built in less than a year and includes a "lighthouse" tower topped with symbol of Hussite church, a chalice and a cross. Ďolíček
Ďolíček Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Prague district Vršovice, Czech Republic. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of Bohemians 1905, Bohemians Praha 1905. The stadium was opened on 27 March 1932 for a match against SK Slavia Prague. The reconstruction of 2003 changed the capacity to 13,388 (3,028 seated). After reconstruction in summer 2007, its capacity was reduced to 9,000 (3,800 seated). Bohemians 1905 were not allowed to keep the stand sector, they changed it into seats, which reduced the capacity further, to 7,500 (all seated). In the 2010–11 Czech First League, 2010–11 and 2011–12 Czech First League, 2011–12 seasons, Bohemians played its home matches at Synot Tip Arena, and Ďolíček was only used for the Bohemians 1905 "B" team. Eden Arena
Fortuna Arena (formerly known as Sinobo Stadium, Eden Arena and Synot Tip Arena) is a football stadium, in Prague-Vršovice, Czech Republic. The stadium has a capacity of 19,370 people and it is the biggest and the most modern football stadium in the Czech Republic. Bohemians Praha 1905, commonly known as Bohemka or Bohemians Prague, is a professional association football, football club based in Vršovice, Prague, Czech Republic.
