Jakub Vrána
Jakub Vrána (born 28 February 1996) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Vrána was selected by the Washington Capitals in the first round, 13th overall, of the 2014 NHL entry draft, and has also played in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues. Vrána won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Capitals in 2018. Early life Vrána was born on 28 February 1996, in Prague to parents Jana and Karel. He began skating at a rink owned by the brother of former Capitals scout Vojtech Kucera before moving away from home at 15 to play in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Petr Vrána
Petr Vrána (born March 29, 1985) is a Czech professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for HC Oceláři Třinec of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he played 16 games in the National Hockey League with the Devils during the 2008–09 season. Vrána also spent four seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League. Internationally Vrána has played for the Czech national team at the junior and senior level, including at two World Championships.
