Zdenko "Denny" Vrandečić (born 27 February 1978 in Stuttgart, Germany) is a Croatian computer scientist. He was a co-developer of Semantic MediaWiki and Wikidata, the lead developer of the Wikifunctions project, and an employee of the Wikimedia Foundation as a Head of Special Projects, Structured Content. He published modules for the German role-playing game '' The Dark Eye''. He lived in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, United States, until mid 2024, after which he returned to Stuttgart. Education Vrandečić attended the in Stuttgart and from 1997 he studied computer science and philosophy at the University of Stuttgart. Pučišća
Pučišća () is a coastal town and a municipality on the island of Brač in Croatia. It is often listed as one of the prettiest villages in Europe. It is known for its white limestone and beautiful bay. The town has a population of 1,351 (2021 census). Many of the buildings are built with local stone, and so are the numerous monuments which adorn the town. Stone has long been a major part of Pučišćas economy and self-image. Jadrankamen, the largest stone quarry company in Europe, is located here, as is Croatia's only stonemason school. Xenia was a Yugoslav pop rock band from Rijeka, active from 1981 to 1985. Their discography includes two 7-inch singles singles and two studio albums. Biography The band was formed in 1981 by Vesna Vrandečić and Robert Funčić. Their debut album ''Kad nedjelja prođe'' (''When Sunday's Over'') was recorded in "Tira Recording Studio" in Torsby, Sweden, produced by Tihomir Varga, and was released by Jugoton. The two biggest hits from this album were "Iznenadi me" and "Moja prijateljica". The Cretan War (; ), also known as the War of Candia () or the fifth Ottoman–Venetian war, was a conflict between the Republic of Venice and her allies (chief among them the Knights of Malta, the Papal States and France) against the Ottoman Empire and the Barbary States largely fought over the island of Crete, Venice's largest and richest overseas possession. 2021 Croatian Census
The Census of population, households and apartments in the Republic of Croatia in 2021 (Croatian language, Croatian: Popis stanovništva, kućanstva i stanova u Republici Hrvatskoj 2021. godine; shortened: Census 2021, Popis 2021.) was the 4th decennial Croatian census.
