Vonterius Woolbright (born October 6, 2000) is an American professional basketball player who is a free agent. He played college basketball for the Lawson State Community College Cougars and the Western Carolina Catamounts. High school career Woolbright attended Thomasville High School. As a junior, he helped lead the Bulldogs to the GSHA Class AA State Championship, scoring 17 points in the title game. Woolbright committed to play college basketball at Lawson State Community College. College career As a freshman, Woolbright averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The Delaware Blue Coats are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Wilmington, Delaware. They are the G-League affiliates of the Philadelphia 76ers. The 2024 NBA draft was the 78th edition of the National Basketball Association's annual NBA draft, draft. Unlike recent years, the 2024 draft took place over two nights. This was the first NBA draft to be held on multiple nights since the draft was shortened to two rounds, with earlier drafts consisting of as few as three or as many as twenty-one rounds prior to the current format's debut in 1989.
